Job Title: Pharmacist
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled pharmacist to accurately process and dispense prescription medications while ensuring compliance with legal and safety standards. This role involves providing expert pharmaceutical care and patient counseling to optimize medication use, and maintaining the confidentiality of patient information and controlled substance records.
Responsibilities
- Accurately process and dispense prescription medications in compliance with legal and safety standards.
- Provide expert pharmaceutical care and patient counseling to ensure optimal medication use.
- Maintain and safeguard confidential patient information and controlled substance records.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify prescriptions and resolve medication-related issues.
- Utilize multiple pharmacy systems and reference tools to support clinical decisions and workflow efficiency.
Essential
- PharmD or RPh degree.
- Active pharmacist license in Kentucky (all licenses must be in good standing).
- Proficiency in utilizing pharmacy systems and reference tools.
Work Environment
The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 1st shift from 2pm - 10pm. The facility is closed on Sundays, offering a casual dress code for a comfortable working environment. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $64.00/hr.
