A trusted nonprofit community mental health and family support center based in Solano County. Specializing in early intervention, therapy, and prevention services, working closely with local schools, families, and youth to provide accessible behavioral health care. The mission is to build healthier communities through compassionate counseling, education, and support programs.

Position Summary – Therapist (AMFT/APCC)

This is a school-based, fully on-site therapist role ideal for an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) or Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC). The position involves working primarily with children and teens (ages 6–21) through therapy and prevention-focused interventions. You’ll split your time between individual therapy and group work, with the majority of work (70%) being individual/family therapy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide therapy for youth, families, and individuals in school and outpatient settings

• Facilitate occasional group sessions (approx. 30%)

• Work with children ages 6–21 with mild to moderate emotional or behavioral needs

• Collaborate with schools and agency staff to receive referrals and coordinate care

• Maintain clear, timely clinical documentation per California mental health standards

• Participate in case consultations, clinical supervision, and staff collaboration

• Help with early intervention and prevention-focused engagement

• Attend clinical supervision

Schedule & Work Details:

• Full-time: Up to 40 hours/week

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, approx. 9 AM – 5:00 PM

• Location: Fully on-site

Qualifications:

• Active BBS Registration as AMFT or APCC or ACSW

• Valid California driver’s license

• Up-to-date malpractice insurance and auto insurance

• DOJ/FBI background check clearance

• TB test

• Reliable transportation

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Spanish-speaking (bilingual strongly preferred)

• Energetic, positive, and youth-friendly personality

• Experience working with youth, families, or large households a plus

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly Rate:

  • Full-time: $28-30/hour

  • Annual raises provided
