Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification and 1+ years Teacher of the Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a Visually Impaired Teacher providing telehealth services. This contract role is based in Washington Island, WI, and involves delivering specialized instruction and support to students with visual impairments through virtual platforms.

Key responsibilities include assessing students needs, developing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored for visual impairment, and conducting instruction using telehealth technologies. The role requires collaboration with educational staff and families to ensure effective communication and support for student progress.

• Certified Teacher of Students with Visual Impairments (TVI) credential or equivalent certification
