Position Highlights:

• Classroom: High school classroom for students with severe needs

• Student Count: 4 students total

• Support Staff: Dedicated TA and a 1:1 paraprofessional already in place

• Hours per Week: 37.5

Responsibilities:

• Create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)

• Deliver adapted instruction based on student needs

• Collaborate with paraprofessionals, therapists, and families

• Maintain accurate student records and progress reports

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid North Carolina Special Education teaching license

• Bachelors degree in Special Education (Masters preferred)

• Experience with severe/profound student populations is a plus

• Full academic year: August 2025 May 2026
