Job Title: Regional Operations & Logistics Leader

Travel: Required across multiple states
Schedule: Full-time | Day & Night Operational Oversight

Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and respected leader to join our high-performance team in a key operations and logistics role. This individual must bring a blend of tactical leadership, strategic planning, and people development skills to drive operational excellence across a multi-state footprint. Success in this position requires the ability to earn team trust, lead from the front, and operate with a solutions-oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Team Development
    • Lead by example to earn the respect of union and non-union personnel.
    • Develop and mentor team members to achieve excellence in their roles.
    • Set clear expectations and hold team members accountable to high standards.
  • Transportation & Logistics Planning
    • Design and implement complex transportation and logistics strategies.
    • Utilize Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools to build data-driven justifications and forecast operational outcomes.
    • Adapt plans to overcome real-time and long-term challenges with strategic solutions.
    • Effective communication of operational planning both documented and verbally.
  • Customer Engagement & Service Expansion
    • Act as a direct point of contact for customers, providing verbal and written updates.
    • Deliver actionable data analyses to communicate service scope, performance, and opportunity areas.
    • Identify and develop new service opportunities in collaboration with the customer.
  • Labor Relations & Accountability
    • Interact professionally with union employees and union leadership.
    • Maintain documentation and accountability systems for attendance and performance.
    • Ensure management adherence to the union contract in daily operations.
  • Operational Oversight
    • Lead operational initiatives that span across daytime and nighttime functions.
    • Oversee multi-state operations and adapt to the unique needs of each region.
    • Travel regularly to support field operations and team development.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in transportation, logistics, or operations leadership.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Excel for planning and justification modeling.
  • Demonstrated success in building high-performance teams and mentoring individuals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with internal teams and external customers.
  • Ability to think critically, solve problems, and integrate improvements into the workforce.
  • Experience working with or managing unionized labor preferred.
  • Willingness to travel and manage operations across multiple regions and time zones.
