Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Transport goods to various locations, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
- Load and unload cargo as needed, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and maintenance schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of driving experience in a commercial setting.
- Low Boy or Straight Truck experience
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Ability to operate a variety of commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers and box trucks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
