Job Category: Hourly| Non-Exempt | Full-Time

Salary Range: $23.20-$26.68 per hour

Job Site: Hybrid in Colorado (will require travel to multiple sites)


Job Summary:

The role of the Alumni Coordinator is to engage clients and alumni by developing programs and events to provide ongoing support for individuals in recovery.


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of two years customer service, event planning, publicity and/or marketing experience.
  • Two years experience in substance abuse or mental health field preferred.
  • Experience with CRM systems preferred.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Alumni Engagement & Support:
    • Facilitate weekly virtual alumni meetings and in-person group sessions at all facilities as needed.
    • Collaborate with Client Care Coordinators and Clinical Teams to ensure ongoing alumni engagement and smooth transitions into the alumni program.
    • Establish and maintain professional relationships with current clients, ensuring seamless integration into the alumni network upon discharge.
    • Regularly communicate with alumni via phone, text, email, and through Team Recovery and KIPU CRM systems to keep them engaged.
    • Serve as the primary liaison between alumni and the treatment center, addressing concerns and needs promptly.
  • Event Coordination & Planning:
    • Plan, coordinate, and attend alumni events, including weekends and meetings for NRT programs.
    • Handle all event logistics, including booking lodging, coordinating travel, organizing menus/catering, and managing on-site/off-site activities using platforms like Eventbrite and Constant Contact.
    • Support alumni event initiatives, ensuring alignment with the organization’s mission and goals.
  • Program Management & Data Collection:
    • Manage enrollment and engagement with the Recovery Capital Index and oversee the collection of post-treatment program outcomes data via the Team Recovery app.
    • Ensure the CRM is consistently updated with pertinent data about contacts, referrals, and alumni interactions (i.e. Communication Logs and data management).
    • Assist in the admission process when necessary, including re-admitting clients and coordinating with admissions and business development to initiate alumni referrals.
  • Networking/Community Engagement
    • Collaborate with other Alumni Coordinators for events and community engagement.
    • Attend TPAS and COPLA networking events when necessary to increase brand awareness.
  • Compliance & Confidentiality:
    • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the organization’s mission, goals, programming, and admission criteria.
    • Adhere to Joint Commission standards, as well as State and Federal regulations, ensuring strict confidentiality for all clients and alumni.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Standing, sitting, bending, reaching.
  • Must be able to see, hear, talk, read, write, type.
  • Exposure to clinical and medical environments.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • Driving in all weather conditions.
