About the Role:

The Cash Office role is pivotal in ensuring the accurate management and reconciliation of all cash transactions within a retail environment. This position is responsible for overseeing the secure handling of cash, preparing bank deposits, and maintaining detailed financial records to support the store's financial integrity. The role requires meticulous attention to detail to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The Cash Office professional collaborates closely with store management and finance teams to provide timely and accurate financial reporting. Ultimately, this role supports the smooth financial operations of the retail store, contributing to overall business success and customer trust.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in cash handling or cash office operations within a retail environment.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Basic knowledge of financial record-keeping and reconciliation processes.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information responsibly.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with banking procedures and deposit preparation.
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and reconcile daily cash transactions, including cash register takings and safe counts.
  • Prepare and process bank deposits accurately and on schedule.
  • Maintain detailed and organized financial records, ensuring all cash movements are documented.
  • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or variances in cash handling promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with company cash handling policies and relevant financial regulations.
  • Collaborate with store management and finance departments to support audits and financial reporting.
  • Monitor and maintain the security of cash storage areas and related equipment.

Skills:

In this role, strong numerical and analytical skills are essential for accurately reconciling cash transactions and identifying discrepancies. Attention to detail ensures that all financial records are precise and compliant with company policies. Effective communication skills facilitate collaboration with store management and finance teams to resolve issues and support audits. Requirements:

  • Must have flexibility to work nights, weekends, and Holidays as per the stores schedule


This is a part-time position that can turn into a full-time position.



Week 1:
Wednesday 2pm - 7:30pm
Thursday/Friday 8:20am - 7:30pm

Week 2:
Monday/Saturday 8:20am-7:30pm
Sunday 12:20pm - 6:30pm
