Summary:

The Financial Services Representative is the friendly face of our bank, responsible for creating a welcoming environment for our customers. Your key functions will include:

  • Opening new accounts for both commercial and consumer clients, providing tailored recommendations based on customer needs.
  • Handling teller transactions and maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
  • Delivering outstanding customer service, resolving inquiries, and building long-term relationships.
  • Participating in training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Assisting in branch operations, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Complying with all policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Taking on additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Strong math and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of client transactions.
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in operating standard office equipment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of bank operations, products, and services.
  • Familiarity with banking laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act.

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Associate's degree in a business-related field or two years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in a goal-oriented environment preferred.
  • Customer service experience is required.

Computer and Software Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Familiar with Google Suite, IBS, and Salesforce.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:

  • Notary License as required by the branch.
