Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide telespeech services and support within a school setting in Gallion, AL. This contract position offers approximately 14 hours per week, designed to assist with relieving billing SLPA responsibilities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering telespeech therapy sessions to students as directed by school protocols.
- Collaborating with the educational team to implement speech-language interventions.
- Supporting the billing SLPA by managing caseloads and documentation accurately.
- Utilizing Communication Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) standards where applicable.
- Maintaining compliance with school and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid credentials as an SLP with CCC or as a SLPA with relevant school certification.
- Experience working in school environments, providing speech-language pathology services.
- Proficient in telespeech technology and remote service delivery models.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while following supervisor guidance.
