Location: Bronx, New York 10451
Duration: 7 Weeks
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Hours: 35 Hours per Week
Pay Rate: $26 – $28 per hour (W2)
Position Overview
A large healthcare facility in the Bronx is seeking an experienced Human Resources Assistant to support HR operations and onboarding functions within a hospital environment. This is a short-term assignment ideal for candidates with prior healthcare HR experience who are detail-oriented and comfortable in a fast-paced setting.
The role focuses on administrative coordination, employee documentation, training support, and customer service within the HR department.
ResponsibilitiesHR & Onboarding Support

Assist with employee onboarding processes and documentation

Maintain personnel files and ensure accurate record-keeping

Support compliance with hospital HR policies and procedures
Administrative Duties

Perform data entry, filing, and document management

Answer phones and respond to employee inquiries

Provide general administrative and clerical support
Reporting & Documentation

Create basic reports, spreadsheets, charts, and trackers using Excel

Prepare presentations and materials using PowerPoint

Maintain internal tracking systems and HR databases
Training Coordination

Assist with scheduling employee training sessions

Coordinate classroom setup and materials preparation

Support training logistics and attendance tracking
Qualifications

Minimum 2+ years of HR or administrative support experience

Hospital or healthcare experience is mandatory

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications

Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills

High School Diploma or GED required
