We are seeking a Dental Hygienist to join our general dentistry practice, working closely with a single dentist in a small team environment. The ideal candidate will manage a patient load of 8-12 daily, providing essential oral care while supporting limited administrative duties.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments and cleanings
- Educate patients on oral health practices
- Perform dental X-rays and maintain patient records
- Ensure strict infection control and sterilization of instruments
- Deliver periodontal therapy as needed
- Manage patient scheduling and assist with administrative tasks
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in dental hygiene
- Knowledge of dental radiography and periodontal charting
- Familiarity with infection control protocols and sterilization techniques
- Strong patient education and record-keeping skills
- Effective communication abilities
