Make a difference in student lives as a dedicated Occupational Therapist supporting K-12 learners in a school-based contract role located near Whittier, CA. What we’re looking for:
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license for California
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy (required)
- Experience or fieldwork in education settings (K-12 preferred)
- Understanding of education terminology, standardized assessments, and the special education process
- Ability to work independently and adapt to varying caseloads and school assignments
- Knowledge of CDE OT/PT guidelines is advantageous
- Comfort with full-time, onsite commitments for the duration of the contract
Typical responsibilities include:
- Delivering direct therapy services to diverse caseloads across K-12 grade levels
- Conducting assessments and contributing to IEP processes
- Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to optimize student participation and success
- Maintaining accurate documentation and complying with federal, state, and local guidelines
