Description
Conduct in‑process analytical testing on all products manufactured on continuous cooking equipment, including % soluble solids, viscosity, and color. Perform in‑process organoleptic and visual inspections on all manufactured products. Audit all cook stations and packaging lines for compliance with HACCP food safety protocols, including weights, seals, temperatures, coding, and GMPs. Ensure daily food safety and quality of products produced or packaged. Verify that all printed labels and packaging films meet approved standards provided by Marketing. Perform annual raw material validations against supplier Certificates of Analysis (COAs). Verify incoming raw materials against Bills of Lading (BOLs) and confirm accuracy of COAs. Initiate and document corrective actions by reporting food safety or quality issues to the supervisor or designee. Perform environmental swabbing of equipment as required. Provide coverage on the production floor and/or in the QA lab as needed. Maintain professional communication across all levels of production and management. Accurately and thoroughly complete all required daily documentation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience: 1-3 years in a Quality Assurance role; experience in food plant processes Associates degree in the sciences with 1-2 years of experience in industry or academic setting Bachelor with 1 year of experience in industry or academic setting.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
