Manage Chicago is seeking licensed trades professionals to support maintenance operations across our residential property portfolio throughout Chicago. We are currently hiring a Licensed Plumber, Licensed Electrician, and Licensed Carpenter.
This is a full-time position responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and renovation work in multi-unit residential buildings, including both occupied and vacant units.
Responsibilities
- Perform plumbing, electrical, or carpentry repairs and installations as assigned
- Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently
- Complete unit turnovers and renovation projects
- Ensure all work complies with Chicago building codes and safety regulations
- Document completed work and communicate updates to property management
- Maintain professional conduct when working in resident-occupied units
- Participate in an on-call rotation as required
Qualifications
- Active Illinois trade license (as applicable to the position)
- Experience working in residential or multi-family properties preferred
- Strong working knowledge of building systems and repair practices
- Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel between properties
