The Limestone PlayZone is looking for a Lead Coordinator!
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The Youth Development Lead at the YMCA of the Twin Tiers oversees the development and operations of YMCA youth programs including healthy living, youth & family, sports, wellness and other relevant programming. In addition, designs practices, processes, and procedures for strong program and project management.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. NEVER LEAVE CHILDREN UNATTENDED AT ANY TIME.
2. Ensure high quality member service (i.e. greeting youth by name)
3. Work within the framework, policies, and procedures established by the YMCA.
4. Physical activities may include stooping, reaching, standing, crouching, kneeling, lifting and repetitive motion.
5. Demonstrate quality standards in Character Development at all times.
6. Be professional, alert and eliminate unsafe practices and physical hazards.
7. Secure sub when unable to fulfill assigned shift and notify supervisor of change. Two weeks advance written notice required to request time off.
8. Accident and Incident reports are completed and turned in immediately to Senior Program Director.
9. Enforce regulations pertaining to food and drink in designated areas only.
10. Follow the checklist closing procedures and secure the room.
11. You may not work in an area that involves supervising your own child(ren)
12. Attend department staff meetings and All-Staff meetings as scheduled.
13. Carry out additional assignments and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
14. This job may not be all-inclusive and duties may be modified when deemed appropriate by the CEO. Employees are expected to perform all other duties as assigned and directed by the CEO.
