REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to work an on-call rotation and occasionally work evening or weekend hours to meet programming needs
  • Bachelor's degree in a field like psychology, behavior analysis, or social work
  • 5+ years of experience developing, implementing, and overseeing behavioral intervention programs
  • Experience in a residential care setting or working with people with special needs
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications, with the ability to learn new software and online portals
  • Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid, and non-violent physical intervention certifications within 3 months of hire
  • Valid driver's license in your state of residence, reliable transportation, and a good driving record
  • Ability to perform physical demands like walking, bending, reaching, lifting objects/people without assistance, using office equipment, physically restraining individuals, working outdoors, etc.

Our ideal Pediatric Behavioral Services Coordinator has a master's degree, is BCBA/BCaBA certified, and is familiar with ABA strategies, trauma-informed care, and positive behavior support (PBS) plans.

OUR TEAM NEEDS YOU!

Our Pediatric Behavioral Services Coordinator oversees behavior specialists in developing, implementing, and assessing positive behavior support plans for students with special needs. You'll participate in behavioral assessments and contribute to intake evaluations to develop intervention plans that align with best behavior analysis and trauma-informed care practices. You'll work with data to measure the effectiveness of treatment plans, identify areas for growth, and adjust strategies accordingly.

The students' progress is a top priority, and you'll participate in IEP and clinical team discussions to ensure consistency with all guidelines. You'll regularly analyze intervention data and advise specialists on what adjustments to make. This role plays an important part in team development, and you'll provide residential and educational staff with in-service training about related topics (i.e., ABA, crisis prevention, and behavioral interventions). You'll also assist with hiring, training, and evaluating behavior specialists, working closely cross-departmentally to ensure cohesive behavior support.
