We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our small but busy CPA firm. This high-level role involves managing all aspects of bookkeeping, including general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, payroll, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience preparing tax documents or working closely with CPAs on individual, business, and sales tax filings. Strong proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) is required, along with the ability to handle multiple client accounts accurately and efficiently. We’re looking for a dependable professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to contribute to our clients’ financial success.

• Proven experience in bookkeeping, preferably in a tax firm or similar setting.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and a strong understanding of its functionalities.
• Knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.
• Demonstrated ability to perform bank reconciliations accurately.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining precise financial records.
• Familiarity with accounting standards and compliance requirements.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients.
