A school district in the OFallon, MO area is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to support early childhood students for the 20252026 school year. Position Details:
- Location: Early childhood school in the OFallon area (exact site not disclosed)
- Employment Type: Full-time contract (36 hours per week; 7 hours per day)
- Assignment Dates: Immediate start through May 22, 2026
- Caseload: Approximately 30 to 60 students per week, based on individual needs and therapy time required
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop individualized treatment goals aligned with students abilities and IEP requirements
- Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
- Provide physical therapy services tailored to student needs in the school setting
- Complete evaluations and quarterly progress reports on therapy goals
- Create and maintain an efficient therapy schedule to maximize service delivery
- Offer consultation and support to staff regarding physical therapy strategies when needed
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Licensed Physical Therapist with experience in pediatric or school-based therapy
- Ability to work effectively with early childhood populations
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators and families
- Familiarity with IEP development and educational regulations
