About the Role

We are looking for a Resident Coordinator I (RCI) to join our team and be a part of our clients’ healing journeys. As an RCI, you'll supervise residents within AMFM’s Transitional Living Homes, ensuring a safe, supportive, and therapeutic living environment. You'll work closely with clinical and management staff to help residents stay on track with their recovery programs and maintain a comfortable and encouraging atmosphere.

Responsibilities

As a Resident Coordinator I, you’ll:

  • Safely transport residents to daily activities, ensuring punctuality and security

  • Support clients and their families through communication and intervention, including crisis support

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming home environment

  • Lead and document recovery-focused groups and activities

  • Observe and report client behavior, medication effects, and daily participation

  • Collaborate with the clinical team and nursing staff

  • Ensure residents adhere to schedules and attend all recovery-based activities

  • Provide orientation to new residents and review emergency protocols

  • Use BestNotes (our electronic health record system) for accurate documentation

  • Uphold Joint Commission standards and emergency management procedures

Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years or older

  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s in Psychology, Sociology, or Human Services preferred

  • Valid driver’s license with 4+ years of driving experience and a clean driving record

  • CPR/First Aid Certification (or ability to obtain)

  • Current TB clearance

  • Background check through ADP Selective Screening Services

  • Ability to lift 25 lbs and work at a computer for extended periods

  • Compassion, professionalism, and a strong understanding of recovery concepts for mental health and co-occurring disorders
