Pediatric Dental Assistant | 3-Day Work Week | Private Practice | Bonus Opportunities

Compensation:
$20 - $32 hourly
Responsibilities:
- Assist Dr. Morales chairside during pediatric dental procedures and examinations
- Take diagnostic radiographs and maintain accurate patient records
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient care
- Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA and infection control standards
- Monitor patient comfort and help create a positive dental experience for children and families
- Review medical histories, record vital signs, and provide post-operative instructions as needed
- Perform coronal polishing and other duties permitted under Texas RDA regulations
- Maintain organized operatories and clinical inventory
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient patient flow and exceptional customer service
- Provide occasional administrative support, including scheduling and patient communication, as needed
Qualifications:
- Need state licensure as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA)
- Computer skills and experience with dental software and updating patient histories is needed
- Coronal polishing certification in the state of Texas
