Plant Manager

Here's how you'll become a key player with this opportunity:
This role is responsible for managing the production, safety, and efficiency of industrial gases operations. In addition to leading direct reports, the position supports the Regional Operations Manager in asset management and expense control.
Here’s how you’ll make an impact on the team:
- Recruit, onboard, train, supervise, evaluate, motivate, communicate with, lead, and discipline all plant employees
- Foster a strong safety culture within the plant in alignment with company safety standards
- Oversee daily plant operations to maximize profitability while minimizing investment and upholding the highest safety standards
- Plan, direct, and schedule employee work to optimize labor utilization, align with workflow, and drive profitability
- Maintain inventory control and oversee inventory counts to optimize organizational cash flow
- Enforce and comply with all applicable State and Federal laws, DOT and OSHA regulations, FDA guidelines, and company policies and procedures
- Monitor expenses to ensure operations remain within budget parameters
- Perform other duties as assigned
Here’s what you’ll need to be successful in this role:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of progressive leadership or supervisory experience
- Industrial/specialty gases production experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively under deadlines with minimal supervision
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Conflict resolution expertise
- Knowledge of inventory management practices
- Goal-oriented and self-motivated
- Proficient computer skills

Pay Range:
$70,000 - $80,000 annually
