Summary
Lead Teacher for our One Year Old toddler classroom
Applicant must have a good work ethic, be punctual and be skilled at classroom management.
WILL TRAIN the right candidate. CDA training is available through the state (no charge).
Must be available to work on holidays. Cassville Nursery is open M-F 6:30am-6pm, closing two days each year – Christmas Day and Thanksgiving Day. We expect applicant to sign up to work one or two “sign-up holidays” each year including New Years day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day and the Day after Thanksgiving (Black Friday).
There is no cell phone use (or smart watch use) permitted while supervising children.
In September 2026, this will be a full time position, but can be part time upon request. Until then, we will discuss working as an Assistant, under our present long term Lead Teacher for this age group. Time will also be spent completing various trainings.

Duties
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- implement Creative Curriculum into nursery school program
- follow Grow NJ Kids guidelines
- diapering
- feeding
- placing toddlers to sleep for nap
- supervising children
- maintaining classroom
Requirements
- Infant Toddler CDA
- Creative Curriculum knowledge
- Prepare weekly Creative Curriculum lesson plans
