Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought to provide onsite services at an elementary school in Ojai, CA. This contract position is available for the current school year and involves working with an elementary caseload to support students' speech and language development within the school setting.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language evaluations and assessments
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Collaborating with educators and families to support student progress
- Delivering direct therapy sessions to students with a range of speech and language needs
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with school policies
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP licensure or certification appropriate for school-based practice
- Experience working with elementary school-age children
- Knowledge of speech and language disorders and evidence-based intervention strategies
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with school staff and families
- Ability to provide services onsite full time throughout the school year
