Electrical Engineer | Mason, MI
Salary Range: $79,000 - $124,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain electrical control systems for manufacturing processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical failures in production machinery and infrastructure.
- Program and implement Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs), and other automation components.
- Ensure all electrical systems and installations comply with safety standards (e.g., NEC, NFPA 70E) and regulatory requirements.
- Manage and execute electrical engineering projects, including upgrades, new installations, and system improvements.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures for electrical equipment to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency and reliability of electrical systems.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
- X+ years of experience in an electrical engineering role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proven proficiency with PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley), HMI development, and industrial control systems.
- Strong ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex electrical systems, machinery, and automation equipment.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical safety standards (e.g., NFPA 70E) and the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Experience with power distribution, motor control centers, and industrial instrumentation.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
- Familiarity with industrial automation protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profibus).
- Knowledge of vision systems and sensors for quality control.
- Experience with data acquisition and analysis for manufacturing processes (IIoT).
