We currently provide a variety of services, including routine vaccinations for children and adults, COVID-19 vaccinations, flu vaccinations, biometric screenings (blood pressure, glucose, and lipid checks, A1C testing), vision screenings, TB screenings, COVID-19 testing, and other laboratory and blood testing services.

Overview:

The Driver is primarily responsible for packing, transporting, managing cold-chain, and delivering vaccines and supplies for nurses in greater MN.

Responsibilities:

Vaccine and Supply Management: Follows the procedures of packing, off-site transport, and handling of vaccines and supplies.

Driving: Safely operating a vehicle (SUV or van) to transport supplies and vaccines according to a schedule or set route.

Communication: Effectively communicating with clinical team, pharmacy staff, field nurses, and regional supervisors regarding delivery schedules, vehicle condition, and any issues encountered.

Safety Compliance: Adhering to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies

Customer Service: Demonstrate friendly, patient, & approachable.

Physical Requirements: Driving can involve long hours, so physical stamina and the ability to handle the job's demands may be necessary. You should be able to lift 50 pounds and go up two flights of stairs.

Phone skills: Able to utilize Google Maps or Waze to navigate the delivery route. Be able to access the internet to enter time and mileage into the web portal after each shift.

Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve issues both with driving and managing the vaccines.

Administrative skills: Strong organizational skills. Responds to emails/texts in a timely manner. Proves to be highly reliable. Able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications:

Be Reliable: Others depend on you; reliable transportation; access to a registered & insured vehicle.

Be Prompt: Pick up vaccines and supplies from the main office in Minneapolis and deliver them safely to nurses or the clinic according to the schedule.

Pass Background Check: Safety for our employees is our top priority; we require a clean driving record and a valid Minnesota driver’s license.

Patience and Understanding: Our nurses thrive in an environment with patient and kind people around them.

Education: High school diploma or GED required

Compensation:

This is a part-time, non-exempt temporary position, with an hourly rate of $20-$23. The hourly rate of pay starts when you leave your house and continues until you return home.

Shifts are between 5-11 hours and are scheduled for Friday through Sunday as assigned.

Mileage will be reimbursed at $.70 per mile
