You’ll be assigned to either Royal Palm School or Indian Ridge, working with PreK-12 or K-12 students during the Extended School Year. The non-itinerant nature of this role offers consistency and allows you to truly connect and make a difference within a single school community.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active provisional SLP license for Florida (Dept. of Health)
- Open to both experienced SLPs and SLP-CFs (supervision available for CFs)
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
- Successful completion of internal eligibility and video interviews
- Capable of meeting time-sensitive credentialing, fingerprint, and badge requirements
- Genuine commitment to supporting a diverse student population
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary or secondary students
- Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with special education and school staff
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in compliance with district protocols
