Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education, active DHH teaching certification, and 1+ years Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Location: Multiple School Sites
Schedule: 30 hours/week | Onsite | Itinerant Position
Contract Dates: Start ASAP May 22, 2026
Position Overview:
We are seeking a qualified Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) to provide specialized instruction and support to students from Early Childhood through age 21 across multiple school sites. The ideal candidate will be passionate about empowering students with hearing loss, flexible in traveling between schools, and skilled at collaborating with educators, families, and service providers.
Responsibilities:

Provide direct and consultative services to students with hearing loss

Adapt curriculum and instructional methods to meet student needs

Travel between assigned school sites (mileage reimbursed)

Maintain accurate records of student progress and services

Collaborate with teachers, audiologists, and other related service providers

Support the development and implementation of IEPs
Requirements:

Valid CDE Licensure (Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing endorsement required)

Experience working with students who are DHH, across varied age groups

Strong collaboration and communication skills

Willingness to travel between multiple school locations
Caseload:

16 students ranging from Early Childhood to age 21
