Join Our Team as a Primary Care & Addiction Specialist Medical Provider in Redding, CA!
Salary Range: $145,000–$290,000 + Bonus
Location: Redding, CA
Job Type: Full-Time
Are you a compassionate and skilled medical provider dedicated to improving the health of underserved communities? We are seeking a Primary Care & Addiction Specialist Medical Provider (MD, DO, NP, or PA) to join our multidisciplinary team in Redding, CA. In this full-time position, you will deliver comprehensive primary care services with a specialized focus on treating substance use disorders through evidence-based approaches, including Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT). This dual role offers a unique opportunity to support the whole person—addressing both physical and behavioral health in a collaborative, integrated care setting.
What You’ll Do

Provide comprehensive primary care to a diverse patient population, including preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute care services.

Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations for patients with substance use disorders.

Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans, integrating both general medical and behavioral health needs.

Prescribe and manage MAT in accordance with federal and state regulations.

Educate patients and their families on health promotion, substance use, treatment options, and recovery strategies.

Collaborate with behavioral health providers, case managers, and community partners to ensure seamless, integrated care.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
Qualifications

Current and unrestricted California license as an MD, DO, NP, or PA.

Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Addiction Medicine, Psychiatry, or Addictions Nursing preferred.

Active DEA license and furnishing number (or the ability to obtain).

At least two years of clinical experience, including direct care for individuals with substance use disorders.

Experience or strong interest in integrated primary care models and trauma-informed, harm reduction strategies.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Passion for serving diverse and underserved populations.
