Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert perioperative nursing care in the orthopedic operating room, including arthroscopies, total joint replacements, and trauma orthopedic procedures.
- Maintain strict patient-to-nurse ratios of 1:1 in the OR to ensure comprehensive patient monitoring and safety.
- Utilize Meditech electronic medical records for accurate and timely documentation.
- Collaborate closely with surgical teams to optimize patient outcomes during all phases of the surgical process.
- Adhere to hospital policies including wearing designated hospital scrubs and maintaining professional standards.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active RN license with Operating Room experience.
- Current TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course) certification is mandatory and must be included with your submissionno exceptions.
- BLS certification required.
- Proven orthopedic and trauma orthopedic surgical nursing experience.
- Familiarity with orthopedic surgical equipment and procedures.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule of either three 12-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts, with six on-call shifts per four-week schedule.
- Experience with Meditech EMR preferred.
