About the Role
Diamond Concrete Sawing is looking for a Locating Specialist who takes pride in accuracy, safety, and doing things right the first time.
This is a hands-on field role where you’ll help identify what’s below the surface before cutting or digging begins. Your work helps prevent costly mistakes and keeps crews and job sites safe.
No locating experience is required. We are willing to train the right person who is dependable, detail-oriented, and ready to learn a skilled trade.

What You’ll Do
- Review job scope and client requirements before heading to the field
- Learn to use ground penetrating radar (GPR) and electromagnetic locating equipment
- Identify and mark subsurface utilities, conduits, rebar, and post tension cables
- Communicate with clients, project managers, and internal teams on job sites
- Maintain accurate records including photos, notes, and job documentation
- Keep your vehicle, equipment, and PPE clean and ready for the next job
- Participate in safety meetings and ongoing training
What You Bring
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Attention to detail and pride in doing the job right
- Good communication and professionalism with clients and teammates
- Ability to work independently and stay organized
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to work outdoors and on construction job sites
Experience in construction, utilities, surveying, or field work is helpful but not required.
