Overview

The Epic Cadence & Prelude Analyst serves as a senior subject matter expert responsible for the design, configuration, testing, and implementation of complex, cross-functional patient access initiatives. This role ensures alignment across operational, clinical, and financial workflows to deliver a cohesive, high-performing patient access platform.

Partnering with enterprise architecture, clinical operations, and revenue cycle teams, the Analyst drives front-end optimization, ensuring accurate registration, compliant billing, and seamless data integration. This individual also contributes to governance, change management, and ongoing innovation within patient access workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional initiatives across Cadence and Prelude to deliver end-to-end patient access solutions
  • Design, execute, and oversee comprehensive testing strategies, including validation and regression frameworks
  • Drive release planning and ensure quality delivery for all Cadence and Prelude enhancements
  • Act as a primary liaison between technical teams and operational stakeholders, translating business needs into system solutions
  • Establish and promote best practices for system configuration and workflow design
  • Identify and implement process improvements across patient access functions
  • Mentor and guide junior analysts, supporting team development and knowledge sharing
  • Facilitate design sessions and stakeholder meetings across multiple functional areas


Qualifications:

Required:

  • 7+ years of experience with Epic Cadence and Prelude, including at least one full implementation
  • Strong expertise in integrations and data flow across patient access systems (e.g., MyChart)
  • Demonstrated leadership in large-scale patient access or revenue cycle projects
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and lead design discussions

Preferred:

  • Experience managing large-scale transformation initiatives
  • Full lifecycle Epic implementation experience

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
  • Epic Cadence and Prelude certifications (required)
  • Additional Epic certifications (preferred)

Work Environment & Travel

  • Fast-paced, deadline-driven environment requiring high accuracy and attention to detail
  • Prolonged computer use required
  • Occasional after-hours, weekend, or holiday work to support system updates or critical events
  • Travel up to 25% (domestic); no international travel required
