Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Special Education Teacher opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year in a middle school setting located in Lebanon, NH. This contract role runs from ASAP through June 2026, offering 32 to 37.5 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have specialized experience in behavioral support, with an emphasis on autism, to manage a middle school caseload effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students with special needs.
- Provide behavioral support and interventions, focusing on autism spectrum disorders.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success.
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for compliance with educational standards.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification.
- Proven experience working with middle school students, particularly those with autism.
