Schedule 5/2 (8 hour days) Position Overview
The Land Analyst I supports Land Asset Teams in the acquisition and maintenance of oil and gas leases and Exploration & Production (E&P) contracts. This role focuses on research, reporting, and detailed data analysis to ensure accurate working interest and revenue calculations.Key Accountabilities
- Assist Land Asset Teams with acquiring and maintaining oil & gas leases and E&P contracts
- Research and analyze leases and contracts
- Determine working interest (WI) and net revenue interest (NRI) for new wells, workovers, and recompletions
- Develop and maintain cross-functional relationships with Operations, Development, OBO, and Legal teams
- Generate reports using Quorum Land System and Business Objects
- Gather and analyze data related to contract and lease obligations
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of relevant land, oil & gas, or E&P experience
- Intermediate-level competency with progression toward full proficiency
- General understanding of land and contract analysis principles
- Experience interpreting lease terms and contract provisions
- Ability to identify problems and develop practical solutions
- Capable of making decisions within well-defined guidelines
