Job Summary
Must be experienced in Functional Medicine/ Integrative care concepts and have practiced for 2 years or more. The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant/M.D/D.O position is a vital role in the Integrative medicine world. We are looking for an individual that is driven to provide the best medical care possible while learning new and innovated treatments. Some responsibilities include collaborating with IV technicians, Medical Assistants, and working with scheduling personnel to provide an outstanding patient experience. The Provider chosen for this role must want to increase their professional acumen and be flexible with change. The right candidate will work side by side with one of our established providers to learn hormone therapy, IV therapy protocols, supplement management, stem cell therapy, Auto-Immune and Chronic illness and disease treatment, small procedures, and many more techniques and therapeutic modalities. We are looking for someone that is organized, energetic, detail oriented, reliable, Friendly, and a team player. Come be part of an awesome team that has the sole goal of helping patients get better!
Successful Candidates have the following Qualifications
- Current applicable licensures in the state of Utah and board certification
- Current DEA License
- 2 plus years with Integrative methods of treatments
- Works in an integrative environment and considers all aspects of the patients life to provide safe, quality care
- Provides clinical support for shared medical visits between providers
- Conducts thorough medical histories and performs a physical exam based upon the age medical history of the patient
- Initiates appropriate lab, radiology tests, or other special tests required for evaluation of illness
- Orders, interprets, and evaluates laboratory tests and other diagnostic studies to assess the patients clinical issues and health care needs, as well as identify pathophysiologic processes
- Works independently within applicable state law
- Answers routine patient questions regarding their disease, including preventive health maintenance topics
- Educates patients regarding their disease, treatments, related drug and treatment side effects, and hazards
- Demonstrates a high standard of moral and ethical behavior, compassion, professionalism, and a commitment to excellent patient care
