  • Provide friendly, respectful service to residents, families, and guests; respond to special requests within dietary guidelines.

  • Report any resident concerns related to meals, appetite, or dietary needs to the Dietary Supervisor or nursing staff.

  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and emergency procedures; participate in required training and in-services.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support smooth dietary operations.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • Previous experience in food service, dietary, or healthcare settings is a plus but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate.

  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, including diet orders and recipes.

  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and accuracy.

  • Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25–50 lbs, bend, reach, and push/pull carts.

  • Ability to communicate effectively and interact compassionately with elderly residents and team members.

  • Must pass required background checks and health screenings.

Schedule & Compensation

  • Part-time position (flexible hours; shifts typically cover meal service periods and may include weekends/holidays as needed).

  • Opportunity to join a facility that values teamwork, resident-centered care, and staff support. Benefits eligibility and details available based on hours worked (may include access to paid time off, retirement plan options, and other programs).
