Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for an elementary school setting in Virginia Beach, VA. This contract position covers the school year from August 11 to June 15, providing specialized speech and language services to elementary-aged students.
Qualifications:
- Current certification as an SLP with CCC, CFY, or valid school credential
- Active licensure required
- Experience working with elementary school children preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with educators and families
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language disorders
- Deliver direct therapy and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student needs in the classroom
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to caseloads and therapy sessions
