Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A travel Occupational Therapist position is available supporting one elementary school in Des Plaines, IL, from March 30, 2026, through June 5, 2026. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:20 a.m. to 2:35 p.m., serving a caseload of 42-50 students.

Responsibilities include supporting students fine motor and sensory processing skills, creating and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and collecting and analyzing data to monitor student progress toward IEP goals. The therapist will complete fine motor and sensory profile evaluations and prepare reports as required. Effective collaboration and communication with student IEP teams, parents, and other stakeholders are essential.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based settings
  • Familiarity with elementary school student needs and developmental milestones
  • Skilled in assessing and treating fine motor and sensory processing challenges
  • Ability to develop and implement IEPs
  • Strong data collection and reporting abilities
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills for teamwork and parent interaction

Compensation starts at $55 per hour, commensurate with experience.
