As a Dispatcher you will work as a member of a tight-knit 24/7 Operations team with a deep commitment to customer service, meeting customer needs while maintaining strong and positive relationships with our fleet of dedicated owner-operators and agent carriers.


The work schedule is in-office Monday to Friday daylight shift. This position requires scheduled on-call rotations.

The duties of the position include, but are not limited to:


  • Dispatching dedicated owner-operators and brokered agent carriers, including participation in scheduled overnight on-call rotations;
  • Building dispatch routes using the custom Clark program;
  • Communicating with owner-operators and brokered agent carriers on dispatches, call times, and special instructions;
  • Maintaining records of dispatched calls, route changes, and call times in the custom Clark program;
  • Monitoring drivers' working hours to ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations;
  • Reporting safety or maintenance issues with the appropriate departments;
  • Booking brokered repositioning backhauls to get our owner-operators efficiently to their next scheduled moves;
  • Communicating weather complications, delays, breakdowns, or repower needs to operations and customer service teams as necessary;
  • Issuing EFS money codes for repairs or advance payment;
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

As a member of the Operations team, you will learn all facets of our dispatch operations, including our custom computer programs.



This work requires:

  • Minimum of 2 years dispatch experience;
  • A fast and willing learner, able to assimilate, retain, and use complex systems with lots of moving parts;
  • A self-starter, able to operate effectively on your own and as part of a close-knit team;
  • The ability to work and thrive in a high-pressure, high stakes environment in which change is a constant, and time is always of the essence.
  • A demonstrated willingness and ability to go “above and beyond” to resolve questions and solve problems creatively;
  • Knowledge of federal and state commercial trucking laws and regulations, including Hours of Service;
  • Exceptional attention to detail;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft programs.
