Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education, active DHH teaching certification, and 1+ years Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Seeking a specialized professional to provide telehealth instruction for students who are deaf or hard of hearing. This contract position supports educational services delivered remotely, focusing on communication development and academic progress.

Contract Role
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering individualized telehealth instruction tailored to students with hearing impairments
- Collaborating with educational teams to develop and implement appropriate learning plans
- Monitoring and documenting student progress and engagement during virtual sessions
- Advising on assistive technologies and resources that enhance learning experiences
- Ensuring compliance with applicable educational and accessibility standards
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Certification or licensure in Deaf/Hard of Hearing education or related specialization
- Experience teaching students with hearing loss in a virtual or telehealth setting
- Strong knowledge of communication strategies, assistive listening devices, and relevant technology
- Ability to engage students effectively through remote platforms
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
