Position Overview
The QC Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all construction activities meet the required standards and codes. This role involves performing inspections, monitoring processes, and providing quality assurance for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installations, particularly within government and federal projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspections of construction sites to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
  • Review construction plans and specifications to understand quality requirements and expectations.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of work performed by contractors and subcontractors in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
  • Document inspection results and prepare reports on findings, including any non-conformities.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during inspections.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a QC Inspector in construction or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of MEP systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
  • Familiarity with federal and government construction standards and regulations.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Certification in Quality Control or relevant field is a plus.
