Location: Remote (EST / CST only)
Duration: 4 Month Contract (potential to extend)
Compensation: $25–$30/hr (paid weekly)
Hours: 40 hours/week

Overview

Our client is looking for an Email Marketing Specialist to support their Marketing Operations team during their busiest campaign season. This role will focus on executing high-volume email campaigns, building and segmenting audiences in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and ensuring accurate data targeting for marketing initiatives.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) and understands how to build audiences, manage campaign data, and deploy targeted email campaigns at scale.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Execute email marketing campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud

  • Build and manage target audiences and segmentation for campaigns

  • Pull audience records from Salesforce CRM and manipulate data using CSV/Excel

  • Upload and manage audience data extensions in SFMC

  • Support email journeys and automated campaigns

  • Assist with A/B testing and campaign optimization

  • Maintain data hygiene and compliance across email campaigns

  • Coordinate with marketing managers and graphic designers to ensure accurate campaign execution

  • Manage campaign schedules within a high-volume email calendar (up to ~4 campaigns per day)

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of email marketing experience

  • Experience executing campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud

  • Experience with audience segmentation and audience building

  • Experience pulling data from Salesforce CRM or similar CRM

  • Experience manipulating data using Excel / CSV files

  • Experience executing high-volume email campaigns

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment

Nice to Have

  • Experience with AMPscript personalization

  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for email

  • Experience with email testing tools (Litmus)

  • Experience with project management tools (Asana, Wrike, Trello)

  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or Dreamweaver

  • Experience supporting email reporting and analytics
