JOB DESCRIPTION:We are looking for a Dental Assistant to join our team. Patient hours are Monday through Thursday. Two Fridays a month are reserved for training, ordering, maintenance, and/or any make up days.
RESPONSIBILITIES:Completing X-rays Prepare for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfortSelect and set up instruments, equipment and material neededSterilize instruments according to regulationsAssist the dentist through 4-handed dentistryUndertake lab tasks for needed casesProvide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructionsKeep the dental room clean and well-stockedSchedule appointmentsMaintain accurate patient records
CE training providedYou will be provided training to learn the culture of the practice, optimal workflow, and verbiage.
SKILLS:Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methodsUnderstanding of health & safety regulationsDentrix knowledge (1 year preferred)Good computer skillsExcellent communication and people skillsAttention to detailWell-organized and reliableCurrent/Active RDA certificate and registrationCPR certifiedProficient at taking digital X-rays
