Position: Therapist-COTA-Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (Travel/Contract)

We're hiring experienced Therapist-COTA-Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant for a 13-week contract in Cordova, Alaska — earn up to ($1730 - $1821 per week) while providing essential care at a leading facility. Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic services to patients under the supervision of an occupational therapist.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.

• Adhere to safety and ethical standards in all patient interactions.

• Educate patients and families on treatment goals and techniques.

• Utilize performance metrics to assess and improve service delivery.

• Evaluate and recommend adaptive equipment for patient use.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care.

• Assist in training and mentoring new staff members.

• Engage in community outreach to promote occupational therapy services.

Experience/Qualifications

• COTA certification from an accredited program required for all applicants.

• Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning opportunities.

• Proven experience in providing therapeutic services in a clinical setting.

• Familiarity with performance metrics to assess service delivery effectiveness.

• Strong understanding of treatment planning and patient evaluation techniques.

• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.

• Ability to maintain accurate documentation and adhere to ethical standards.

• Skills in educating patients and families about treatment goals and techniques.

• Willingness to engage in community outreach to promote occupational therapy.

• Experience in mentoring or training new staff members is a plus.
