Temporary Office Assistant (Tax Season)
Location: Souderton, PA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–3:00 PM (through April)
Pay Rate: $18–21/hour, depending on experience
Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Office Assistant to support a busy accounting firm during tax season. This temporary role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a client-facing office environment and can assist with both administrative and light accounting-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer and route incoming phone calls in a professional manner
- Schedule appointments and manage client interactions
- Create and maintain client contact and expense spreadsheets
- Copy, file, and organize documents and records
- Assemble completed client tax returns
- Input basic tax return information
- Provide general administrative and office support as needed
Qualifications
- Prior experience in an office, administrative, or accounting support role preferred
- Comfortable interacting with clients in person and over the phone
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and basic computer applications
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Dependable and able to work consistently through tax season
