Temporary Office Assistant (Tax Season)

Location: Souderton, PA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–3:00 PM (through April)
Pay Rate: $18–21/hour, depending on experience

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Office Assistant to support a busy accounting firm during tax season. This temporary role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a client-facing office environment and can assist with both administrative and light accounting-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer and route incoming phone calls in a professional manner
  • Schedule appointments and manage client interactions
  • Create and maintain client contact and expense spreadsheets
  • Copy, file, and organize documents and records
  • Assemble completed client tax returns
  • Input basic tax return information
  • Provide general administrative and office support as needed

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in an office, administrative, or accounting support role preferred
  • Comfortable interacting with clients in person and over the phone
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets and basic computer applications
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Dependable and able to work consistently through tax season
