Job Description
A leading manufacturer in the Conway area is seeking a dynamic Administrative Assistant to join their team. The best person for the position will have previous experience in a fast paced office environment, strong computer skills, and strong communication skills. This is a full-time position and a benefit package will be offered upon hire.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reception - answer phones, screen, and direct calls. Take and/or relay messages, greet visitors Retrieve and distribute mail daily
- Process weekly production sheets: track and coordinate this time with employees and supervisors; Print pick lists, release Production Orders
- HR/Payroll Administration – biweekly timesheet reconciliation, coordinate new hire, termination, etc. correspondence
- Assist in the preparation of expense reports and regularly scheduled reports
- Filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc.
- Keep stock of office supplies and place orders when necessary
- Creates agendas and takes meeting notes. Arranges meetings by scheduling appropriate meeting times, booking rooms, and planning refreshments
- Book travel arrangements and organize company events as required
- Manage and maintain showroom and reception areas (organize, cleanliness, brochures, etc.) as well as coordinate repairs to office equipment
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma (or equivalent) 2+ years of similar experience within a manufacturing environment is ideal
- Solid knowledge of business office procedures, office equipment operation, data entry/keyboarding skills and communication systems
- Intermediate level experience with MS Office specifically with Excel
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times
- Experience with SAP is an asset
- Possess superior organizational, spoken/written communication, interpersonal skills
