Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. Seeking a skilled Barista, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and crafting delicious coffee beverages. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your ability to provide exceptional customer service and to ensuring an enjoyable experience for our guests.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages.
- -OUTSIDE JOB POP UP WITH TENT FARMERS MARKETS/BRICK N MOTAR
- FRIDAY, SATURDAY AND SUNDAYS FARMER MARKETS, FESTIVALS, WEDDINGS, CORPORATE EVENTS AND FACILITY WORK
- - Take customer orders and process payments using a cash register or square POS system- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and making recommendations- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee area- Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper handling of food products- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and smooth workflow-
- Upsell additional products or menu items to increase sales, PAY INCENTIVES FOR BAG SALES
-Sell BAGS and KCUPS of company's products
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, utilizing retail math skills for processing payments.
- Assist customers with menu selections, providing recommendations based on their preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Manage time effectively to fulfill orders promptly while maintaining quality service.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and great atmosphere
- SOME THAT CAN PUSH THEIR TEAMMATES TO GO OVER AND BEYOND
- - Proficient in basic math for cash handling and order processing- Knowledge of different coffee brewing methods and techniques- Experience using cash registers or Square POS system is preferred- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment- Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
