Servers – Position Overview

Servers are responsible for delivering an exceptional dining experience that ensures the highest level of member and guest satisfaction while also maximizing sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities (All Servers):

? Service & Guest Interaction

  • Greet members and guests promptly, present menus, inform them of specials and menu changes.
  • Provide recommendations, upsell items, and answer any questions about the food, beverages, or service.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring timely and correct communication with the kitchen.
  • Verify the presentation and quality of all orders before serving to guests.

? Sales & Transactions

  • Accurately total bills, present checks, process payments, and complete all sale transactions.

? Daily Duties & Side Work

  • Complete all assigned side work as per the closing section chart or as directed by the Food and Beverage Manager.
  • Perform additional tasks, setup, or breakdown activities as needed.

? Inventory & Cleanliness

  • Check and restock inventory to maintain sufficient supplies throughout the shift.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of all tables, dishes, glassware, equipment, supplies, storage areas, refrigerators, windowsills, carpets, counters, floors, and both Men’s and Women’s Locker Rooms.
  • Assist with bussing tables, resetting, and restocking the workstation as necessary.

? Alcohol Service Compliance

  • Follow all procedures for the responsible selling and serving of alcoholic beverages.
  • Request valid identification from any guest appearing under 21.
  • Discontinue alcohol service to any member or guest who appears intoxicated.

? Additional Duties

  • Serve and maintain the patio dining area.
  • Provide tableside wine service as needed.
  • Assist with the setup and reset of rooms for banquets, as well as serve guests during banquets or catered events.
  • Help with the setup and breakdown of BBQs, buffets, or portable bars.
  • Wash dishes and glassware if needed.
  • Work in other departments as assigned by management.
