We are seeking Truck Loaders to join our team!!
Location: Chesterfield, VA
Schedule: Monday–Saturday (6 days/week), 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Pay Rate: $18.00/hr + opportunity for significant overtime (up to 30 hours weekly)
Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Forklift Operator to join our food warehouse team. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate inventory handling, safe product movement, and timely truck loading in a fast-paced distribution environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklift and assist with loading and unloading sales vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
- Count and verify inventory as vehicles return to the warehouse
- Compare physical counts to inventory/settlement sheets and report any discrepancies to the Warehouse Supervisor
- Stage and organize product on the warehouse floor in preparation for loading
- Load outbound vehicles during scheduled load-out times
- Complete and submit load documentation accurately to the Warehouse Manager
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse and yard areas
- Monitor and maintain proper stock levels in damaged or hold areas
- Collect and dispose of cardboard, trash, and other warehouse debris
- Follow all safety procedures and complete additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Prior warehouse, inventory, auditing, or forklift experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic math and counting skills required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs as needed
- Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, and repetitive motion required
- Ability to climb a 2-foot step and safely operate warehouse equipment
