Were currently seeking a highly motivated Healthcare Project Manager located inSt. Thomas, USVI.
Required Education:
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Certification:
- PE, PMP, CCM/CMP
Required Qualifications:
In order to become a candidate, you must possess the following skills and abilities.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in healthcare construction management.
- Proven success managing large-scale, multi-phased healthcare projects.
- Strong understanding of AHCA, NFPA, FGI, and Joint Commission codes and healthcare regulatory processes.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Kahua, Primavera P6, or Procore.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or CCM/CMP (Certified Construction Manager) certification.
- Masters degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering.
- Experience in occupied healthcare environments requiring phased construction and infection control.
- Familiarity with Lean Construction, Integrated Project Delivery (IPD), and sustainability programs (LEED, WELL).
Responsibilities:
Project & Construction Oversight
- Manage project development from programming through completion in accordance with client and program objectives.
- Manage and administer contract agreements for consultants, contractors, and vendors.
- Develop bid packaging strategies in collaboration with Senior Project Managers and Sector Leads.
- Manage pre-bid and post-bid meetings, develop construction contract documentation, and expedite client contract execution.
- Oversee all aspects of construction activities, including site logistics, field coordination, and compliance with healthcare safety protocols (ICRA, AHCA, NFPA, etc.).
- Manage the permitting process to ensure A/E submissions meet regulatory and design compliance requirements.
- Ensure timely issuance of meeting minutes, RFIs, and submittals during design and construction.
- Attend or assign staff to weekly job progress and owner meetings; maintain transparent communication with stakeholders.
Financial & Contract Administration
- Support Program Director, Sector Lead, and Senior PMs in managing all budgets, schedules, and scope development.
- Review and approve A/E invoices, contractor pay applications, and change orders.
- Oversee the design review and cost estimate review processes in coordination with design managers and cost estimators.
- Support project engineers with the input and maintenance of cost data using CMTSs cost management systems.
- Review and approve all A/E contract amendments, including final amendments for project closeout.
- Support procurement and bid recommendation processes to ensure compliance with program and funding requirements.
Leadership & Client Interface
- Serve as the liaison between the Program Director, Sector Lead, and project teams, ensuring alignment on project priorities and performance.
- Support the delivery team in maintaining relationships with client administrative leadership, ensuring minimal disruption in occupied sites.
- Conduct weekly project update meetings and provide regular status briefings to senior management and stakeholders.
- Provide input in writing policies and procedures to improve project delivery standards.
Reporting, Quality, and Compliance
- Review Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), field inspection reports, and site visit documentation.
- Ensure quality of project documents in alignment with client Quality Management Programs.
- Manage and coordinate functions such as commissioning, soil investigations, and auditor information requests.
- Coordinate and review reports for senior management and prepare client presentations and progress summaries.
- Take overall accountability for safety, risk mitigation, and adherence to company policies and procedures.

Salary:
- $130,000.00 -$155,000.00 annually
Bonus Pay:
A bonus may be granted to employees depending on individual performance, employee utilization, attendance, tenure, and furtherance of other non-financial corporate goals; bonus opportunities are available at managements discretion.
